Masdar/Tribe

Established in 2006, Masdar, Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, is a global leader in the deployment of renewable energy and sustainable urban development. Active in more than 30 countries, Masdar’s portfolio of projects has a gross capacity of more than 5,000 megawatts (MW), ranging from onshore and floating photovoltaic power to concentrated solar power, onshore and offshore wind power, waste-to-energy, and energy storage solutions.

Masdar has formed a joint venture with Tribe Infrastructure Group, a leading Abu Dhabi-based advisory and development firm, to invest in East Rockingham WTE. Tribe was part of the original development consortium for the project, led by its development team based in Sydney. East Rockingham WTE is the first investment together for Masdar Tribe Energy and is Masdar’s first investment in Australia.

Zurich-based Hitachi Zosen Inova (HZI) is a global leader in energy from waste (EfW), operating as part of the Hitachi Zosen Corporation Group. Formed from the former Von Roll Inova, HZI acts as an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor delivering complete turnkey plants and system solutions for thermal and biological EfW recovery.
